October 2007: CCP2 welcomes two new Associate Participants The North American Electric Power Research Institute Repsol YPF July 2007: CCP2 publishes a policy position paper on Principles for CO2 Storage Site Certification. A Framework for Certification and Operation of CO2 Geological Storage Sites April 2007: IEA Publishes a Brochure on Storing CO2 Underground. The International Energy Agency's GreenHouse Gas program recently published a brochure on storing CO2 underground, which uses CCP materials. A pdf of the brochure can be accessed below. The CO2 Capture Project recently completed a global study on Public Perceptions of CO2 Capture and Storage, including a prioritised assessment of issues and concerns. The report was commissioned by the International Energy Agency’s Working Party on Fossil fuels and funded by the UK Government’s Department of Trade and Industry.
